               Hayden won another Jayhawk title - their third straight. They also competed in and won the Highland Park Christmas tournament. This was an early version of city tournament now known as the Topeka Invitational. Atchison, Seaman, Haskell, Highland Park, Marysville and Lawrence were the other participants. Future Hayden coach Ken Bueltel scored two wins over Hayden with his Immaculata team - although one of the wins was a forfeit due to a scheduling problem. Wamego kept Hayden out of a return trip to the State tournament.
